Do your products have a 'Best Before' date?

In most cases we have the longest shelf life available to us at the time, to find out if a product featured on our website has a “Best Before” date, contact us via email at and one of our representatives will be able to assist you. Typical everyday items have at least 3 - 6 moths shelve life on products.  If you require longer shelve life dates, please contact us prior to makign any purchases so we can look into yoru enquiry.

How do you calculate your exchange rate?

Exchange rates are calculated weekly based on the mid-market rate or what our payment providers use at the time of purchase.

Is there a minimum or maximum order size?

There is no minimum order quantity or value required.  However, the more you purchase the cheaper the shipping rates become.  This effects International buyers more so as our courier rates are more cost effective when shipping over 20kg.  for more information please contact us.

Does the order shipping address have to match the address on the credit card used for my payment method?

During the checkout process, you will be able to choose a shipping address for your order and this can be different to your billing address.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

British Hypermarket prides ourselves on our fast delivery methods. We will pack and ship your order as soon as we receive it and send a tracking number upon actual shipment. Normal shipping times are as follows:

  • most European destinations within 2 to 6 working days from dispatch for tracked deliveries, 3 to 9 working days for non-tracked economy post (as we ship food and drink we try and avoid this service so customers can have the longest shelf life on their products but is available upon request).
  • non-European countries take between 4 and 12 working days for tracked deliveries, 6 to 15 working days for non-tracked economy post, both depending on how long customs take to clear your goods. Please note you may incur additional importation tax/duty on your goods, please contact us to find out more information about shipping to your required destination.
  • UK weekends and Bank holidays being classed as non-working days.

How are chilled delivered?
